Tyrell Appoints New UK Technical Support & Pre-Sales Manager.

Adam Lewiston appointed to lead company's UK service & support division.

Dublin, Ireland - July 29th, 2009 - Tyrell CCT, a leading creative technology solutions provider for the broadcast and post production industry, today announced the appointment of Adam Lewiston as Technical Support and Pre-Sales Manager for Tyrell CCT UK. Based in Tyrell CCT's Soho office, Adam brings a wealth of industry knowledge and high-level experience to the role. In his new position Adam will have responsibility for pre-sales consultancy, system design and technical support, including the installation, repair, maintenance and upgrade of customer's systems. Adam has joined his former colleagues Nick Soper and Mark Lynn from Altered Images to develop and expand Tyrell CCT's business in the UK marketplace. This move reaffirms Tyrell CCT's commitment to providing UK customers with strategic and cost-effective creative technology systems as well as high quality service and support solutions.

Adam has an in-depth and unique insight into the post production and broadcast sectors having held senior roles in post facilities and reseller organisations. He is a well respected and familiar face in many of the facilities in London where his expertise and advice are much sought after. Prior to joining Tyrell CCT, Adam held the position of Senior Support Engineer with Altered Images for three years, where he had responsibility for first line technical support for Avid and Apple systems as well as pre-sales consultancy.

Previously, Adam worked with Crow TV in the role of Facility and Technical Manager, where he managed the design and fit-out of eight new edit suites for the facility. Adam also worked for ORTV, a specialised production company, as a Facility Manager. Here, he managed the company's relocation to a new premises and designed their new edit suites. While at ORTV Adam was also a technical supervisor for the production team on various wildlife programmes, leading to credits from The National Geographic, The History Channel and Channel 4.

Adam also worked with Tyrell Corporation for four years as a Senior Support Technician, where he was involved in key installations of technology solutions for complex projects. Adam commenced his career with reseller Metro Broadcast. Adam has completed advanced technical certification for all key suppliers including Avid, Apple and Editshare and he has an honours degree in Media Production and Management from Hertfordshire University.
