Bryan Malone: Sales Director
Bryan Malone is co-founder of Tyrell and has responsibility for the company’s business development and commercial activity as well as strategic account management. Bryan started his career studying Advanced Computer Programming at Trinity College Dublin and has over 20 years of management and technical experience in the IT industry. Prior to establishing Tyrell in 2000, Bryan worked with PVL Fusion for 8 years where his roles included Product Demonstration Artist, Technical Support Engineer and most recently Senior Account Manager for the broadcast and post-production sectors. Bryan previously worked with Columbia Courseware, an educational computer training organization, as a Senior Graphic Designer.
In his spare time Bryan seeks out activities that will challenge his entrepreneurial spirit and has fun exploring every new computer gadget that hits the market. He considers himself an intrepid adventurer, tying in trips to far-flung lands with golfing, skiing, sailing and hill walking.
Stuart Lawn: Technical Director
Stuart co-founded Tyrell with Bryan Malone and is Director of Tyrell’s Service Department where he has responsibility for all professional services, technical support and client service management. Among his broad range of industry qualifications, he holds a Higher National Diploma in Audio Engineering and is a fully certified Elite Status Avid Certified Support Representative. He has completed technical certification for all key suppliers including Avid, Apple, Digidesign and Isilon. Stuart moved to Ireland from his native London in 1996 to study Film and Media at Galway Film School, but a temporary position with PVL Fusion lured him into the real world of the Irish Broadcast and Film Industry sooner than expected. Stuart held the position of Avid Support Engineer at PVL for 4 years which involved the installation, maintenance and upgrade of systems throughout Ireland.
Stuart previously worked in the music industry in a wide variety of roles including music publishing, A&R management and music production, where he established and managed a purpose-built recording studio in central London. He has worked with acclaimed artists such as George Michael, The Lightening Seeds and Errol Brown. Stuart is passionate about technology and committed to ongoing research and education. In his spare time, he still strums on the guitar and enjoys photography, music and generally mucking around with computers.
Mark Lynn: Sales Director, UK
Mark Lynn joined Tyrell in 2009 to set up the company’s UK office. He has responsibility for sales and account management throughout the UK. Prior to joining Tyrell, Mark served as Sales Director at Altered Images, where he managed the organisation’s overall sales operations. Previously Mark spent over five years at Tyrell Corporation in the UK as a Key Account Manager for the post production sector, specializing in solutions from Avid and Apple. Mark commenced his career with Marcom, a leading telephone and IT solution provider, as a Purchasing and Sales Co-ordinator. Mark holds a Diploma in Business & Finance from The University of Central England and has a keen interest in all sports especially football, rugby & cricket.
David O’ Beirne: Education and Corporate Sales Manager
David O'Beirne joined Tyrell in 2007 as Education and Corporate Sales Manager. He brings extensive experience and knowledge to the role having worked in the education and corporate markets for over twenty years. David joined Tyrell from the Institute of Technology, Tallaght (ITT) where he worked in the Department of Humanities as an AV Technical Officer. This role involved management of the video, audio and photography systems for the college as well as lecture theatre upgrades and technology transitions.
Previously David worked for Intel Ireland for almost 10 years (through his own company, Primavera Productions) as Media Services Manager, where he had responsibility for producing, filming and editing corporate, training and informational videos for the company. During that time he also assisted Intel in building and operating an edit suite and upgrading their studio to non-linear editing capabilities. David has also worked as a freelance cameraman and editor for a number of high profile production and broadcast companies involving location work in Europe, Africa and The Caribbean. Following his graduation, David worked as a video editor, sound recorder and camera operator with Veritas Communication Centre in Dublin. David has a BA in Technology Management and is also a communications graduate from Coláiste Dhúlaigh, Dublin. In his spare time David is an avid scuba diver and sailor.
Adam Lewiston: Technical Support/Presales Manager, UK
Adam Lewiston is Technical Support and Pre-Sales Manager for Tyrell CCT UK. He has responsibility for pre-sales consultancy, system design and technical support. Adam has an in-depth and unique insight into the post production and broadcast sectors having held senior roles in post facilities and reseller organisations. Prior to joining Tyrell CCT, Adam served as Senior Support Engineer with Altered Images for three years. Previously, he worked for post production facilities Crow TV and ORTV in the role of Facility & Technical Manager. At ORTV he managed the company’s relocation to a new premises, designed their new edit suites and acted as a technical supervisor for the production team on various wildlife programmes, which received international credits.
Adam was also employed by Tyrell Corporation for four years as a Senior Support Technician. He commenced his career with reseller Metro Broadcast. Adam has completed advanced technical certification for all key suppliers including Avid, Apple and Editshare. He is also qualified as an Elite Status Avid Certified Support Representative. Adam has an honours degree in Media Production and Management from Hertfordshire University and his interests include film, photography, cooking and keeping tropical fish!
